Program Ads
TO: IHS FOOTBALL VARISTY & JV PLAYER AND PARENT(S)
We are in the process of obtaining advertisements for
our 2007 season Football Program publication. The ads
that you sell will be placed in the regular season
program for all five of our varsity home games.
Selling ad space is Irvine Footballs
“MAIN & MOST IMPORTANT
FUNDRAISER”.
Having players & parents bring in NEW ADS is
vital to the success of our quality football program.
Therefore,
the Pigskin Club is requesting your fund-raising
support by asking
each
IHS VARSITY & JV LEVEL
FOOTBALL PLAYER
to be responsible for selling a
minimum
of two (2) business cards ads
or
$150 in “NEW” business advertisement
for our 2007 program publication.
We highly encourage players to go “ABOVE &
BEYOND” the minimum required to sell ad space. These
funds are the main foundation of our 2007 seasons
budget.
Additionally, we will AWARD PRIZES to the top
three (3) football player’s who bring in the highest
advertising sales by the deadline date, which is
Saturday, June 30th, 2007 (No exceptions)
The
“FRESHMAN PLAYERS”
are only responsible to bring in
one (1) business card ad or $75.00 in new ad sales,
that may either business or a personal family support
message.
The
ad space rates, contact/mailing information, and
mechanical ad sizes are listed on the attached
advertising forms provided for your
convenience.
All
sponsors information is required to be completed on
each form. Listing
the player’s name in the space provided will
provide
proper credit to your son for bringing in the ad.
Duplicate forms as necessary. Once your player has
obtained their advertisements We ask that you submit
the “original” ad insertion order form,
CAMERA -READY ARTWORK and PAYMENT IN FULL and must
be in by the deadline date
below.
DEADLINE:
SATURDAY JUNE 30, 2007 (5 pm) • No exceptions!
Helpful
hints:
• For business ads the player should check with local
businesses or restaurants that you or your family
frequent, ask your doctors/colleagues, and or
dentists, hairstylist, etc. It is important that you
speak with the owner, general manager and/or
marketing director, especially since they are the
main decision makers when it comes to placing
advertisements.
• Also, for business ads check with your parent(s) or
relatives place of employment.
• Personal ads may be from the parents or families to
their player or to the team
• Past program books are a great tool for players to
take with them when approaching businesses for an ad.
This gives the “potential advertiser” an opportunity
to see what type of publication their ad will appear
in and the quality they can expect from us in
reproducing their ad.
Thank you for supporting the IHS 2007 Vaquero
Football Season!

{Note:
Our program committee sent out letters in early March
to those businesses & corporate sponsors who
placed ads in our past programs.
Therefore, understand that players will NOT
receive credit for “repeat ads unless they were
listed as the orignal contact in
2006.
