Michael Eric
Edwards, of Irvine, California, left us to be
with God on Saturday July 25, 2009 at the age of
23.
Michael was born on February 25, 1986 in Yuma, Arizona and moved with his family to Irvine on February 3, 1990. He is survived by his parents, Randy Edwards and Nannette Edwards, his brother, Christopher, and his sister, Brittany. He is also survived by his paternal Grandmother Dolores Edwards and his maternal Grandparents Marisa Tamayo and Teodulfo Baterina.
Michael attended Vista Verde School, Irvine High School, and Santa Ana College.
He excelled in football during his years with the Irvine Chargers, sharpened those talents as an Irvine Vaquero, and continued that passion as a Santa Ana Don.
Michael continued to pursuel ife's adventures that included paintballing, snowboarding and motorcycle riding. He lived his life the way it was meant to be.
Michael was a fine, young man and understood the power of kindness. He touched so many lives and made his family very proud during his time on this earth.
Michael was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who love him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made on behalf of Michael Edwards to the Grossman Burn Center at Western Medical Center or the Regional Burn Center at UCI.
A viewing and vigil will be held on Friday, July 31, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at

A funeral mass to celebrate Michael's life will be held at
11:00 am on Saturday August 1, 2009 at
St. John Neumman Catholic Church,
