The Irvine Vaquero football program is one of the
best programs our school has to offer, and your
performance this past year has made us all very
proud to be Vaqueros. We hope that you have
received as much enjoyment from your
participation in Irvine Football as you have
given to us, your many fans. We wish you all the
best in your future endeavors and we ask that you
always remember with favor your Vaquero football
years.
To that extent, we would like to solicit your help in insuring that the great tradition of Vaquero Football can continue to flourish and others can experience the pride and joy that you, yourself, have enjoyed. As you know, the Vaquero Pigskin Club, as the primary football booster group, is responsible for most of the voluntary funding that goes to support the football program. In the past, the Pigskin Club has provided funds for equipment and honors banquets as well as supporting the coaching staffs. This past year, we were instrumental in helping to acquire a new sled, new helmets and shoulder pads, as well as many other items for the program.
In these tough economic times, we are looking to alumni to help support the program in the coming year. If you have contact with any of your former teammates or their families, we would like you to forward the attached donation form to them, and encourage them to assist us in keeping the Vaquero football program the best in the area.
Any size donation is greatly appreciated.
Please use these last couple of months as a proud Vaquero to help insure that those following in your footsteps can experience what you have. Make sure to have those you encourage to make a donation to mention your name on the donation form so we can recognize your efforts. If you are able to make a donation yourself, that would also be greatly appreciated.
Remember that many of your fellow Vaquero teammates will be life-long friends. You are a unique group who, together, accomplished much. We look forward to seeing you as alumni at future Vaquero football games.
